<<I want to see capitulation in the SOX.>>

I am beginning to hate the SOX.

Did you think that today was capit?? Or more pain ahead??

On the positive side, KLAC daytrade looks like it will work out - going to the wire on it.

We're bulls eye center of the semi cycle trough, with overwhelmingly negative sentiment. Even mildly hopeful news (ASML, LSI) doesn't reverse the selling tide. We have retail investors exiting the market, and trough valuations by historic measures like bv.

This reminds me of how tough it is to buy the OSX under 50 - gloom all around, blood in the streets.

I say we're damn close to a bottom in the SOX, and my guess is that any buy of a sox around 300 will be a nice position in a few weeks.

Tomorrow could be capitulation, but I think I'll ease into some positions even if it's not.

ciao,
Josh.

ps rei was a monster! heard anything about it in houston?
