Do you guys like SBC & VZ? Dividend is up to 5% and they are the only stable Telecom left due to effective monopoly in the local market. These two stand to benefit the most from the collapse of the ILECs, WorldCon, Quest and possibly others like AT&T and Sprint.

Well... I'm off for two weeks starting tomorrow. Spent some time today lowering trimming my hedges since I plan to have my investments run on autopilot, the majority being MMs, short-term bonds, and TIAA. Got rid of 50% of my PMs this week; could be wrong, but I think the dark side beckons them (MB was right about that a few weeks ago). I think it will be a wild two weeks for you all, but my feeling is the next big down leg will be after my vacation. Enjoy yourselves -- I will enjoy not following the market during the day for a while! --Ben
