Dear Charles: I basically began my accounting career in 1967, things were pretty simple then, only 15 RULES put out by the AICPA. Later the FASB got involved and attempted to FINE TUNE everything issuing 100's of rules. Now it seems its gotten so damn complicated that instead of doing what is RIGHT people spend all their time reading the FINE PRINT to look for LOOPHOLES. I think we need to get back to basics and HOLD PEOPLE LEGALLY RESPONSIBLE. JDN
