So then Edward Breen made a bad decision?

To understand Breen's background, check out Commscope Inc., (NYSE:CTV) and the various versions of General Instrument (went private by Forstmann Little, public about 1992, split out Next Level and Commscope, reverse split on a portion, some name changes so Next Level was renamed General Instrument). I think Motorola got burned badly on Next Level, and couldn't be happier to have Breen gone. Just IMO. I have not fully checked this out, but I knew that GI had been an LBO.
