I currently own a home I can't afford to buy. Always have, ever since I bought it. Also haven't seen any better neighborhood within 25 miles that I would go out on a limb to buy into--and I've certainly seem them all, considering the business I did for so many years. So I'm staying put. And if I had just bought my home in the past couple years, I'd still have a fresh memory of what it was like to uproot and, on top of that, pay the expenses of buying something else--even if it was lower in price.
