Warp,

"but one cannot help but believe that the SOX will head lower ST"

Don't look now, but MOT down 12.3% in AH.

Might be ugly in the AM.

Hi Warp, all,
"I had thought I was doing myself a favor by sleeping in the first hour of trading, but if you are
playing the ST game then the first hour is very important. "

OTOH, as, someone said the other day (kb?), this market is still firmly in the hands of the market makers. Agreed.

I bailed on BBY beginning of the week (trying to follow db's wisdom re. not hanging around when stocks don't behave as you expect). On the day of the huge DOW runup, BBY's was delayed at opening, and then opened over 11% down--on no news. Panic sellers (or those deer in the headlights--me in this case--who did not buy) missed a swing by the end of the day, from low to high, of over 20%. Talk about shaking out weak hands.
