I think it's similar to how Target and Walmart came to town and changed how much we're willing to pay for clothes.

Once we get used to paying less we're not going to go the other way if we can help it.

I'm still wondering how come home interest rates are so low if demand is so good. (I understand why companies can offer those prices with the fed's funds rate so low but it seems to me that rates don't fall when we are in recovery mode).
