Indeed it is a shame and the public unfortunately believes their interests are what is best....It's like the head broker telling a new client about all the broker's yacht's in the water, but the client asks "where are the clients' yachts?" Money managers need to be independant IMO. Personally, my ethics are probably too strong for Wall Street anyway and I only collect fees when I make profits for my clients. No profits...no fees...as it should be.
