August 14th? Don't know about that, but in the local paper there was an interesting article about Mallinckrot losing their case against the Maine People's Alliance. The judge ordered them to fund an independent study about the mercury contamination in the Penobscot River. Tyc's lawyers had suceeded in dragging out the case to date, but now its time to pay up. This could be a huge expense to tyc, but its too early to know how much. Just another billion or so is my guess...that's nothing to them. Just write it off to stupidity.
