On the other hand, perhaps when a stock can sell off 4 to 5 dollars on 3 analyst reports, and then bounce only 30 cents on the news that the analysts were not only wrong, but that things were even better than we thought, is another sign of the elusive "bottom". All I know is that as a LT investor, I feel alot better today than I did yesterday.

Mucho, you said you would change from a bear to a bull when the bears abandon logic. Is this an example of that?

mm -looks like you are going to be proven right. This sell off has to lead to unemployment and a vicious cycle of increases in it.

It is the sell off tghat induces it. Maybe the resultign defaltion needn't have happened but the constant bearishness has certainly not helped and imho it is the root cuase of any resulting depression.

Ther now the bears have their hearts desire come true,. Its alwway refreshing when you see peoples dreams come true. For most people however they are going to feel pretty much more muiserable than we do now.

Best,

L
