Does Dell have PDAs in hand?
Computer king's next move may be into handhelds

Maybe but from what I hear - its printers first, and the printer/fax combinations (can't wait for that!), next the game cubes, xbox etc. and finally cell phones and pdas.

My source who is just somebody who may or may not know whats going on- says PDAs and cellphones have not achieved the "commodity" manufacturing status that Dell wants. They don't want to do too much value added engineering thats not their forte, and the competing standards mean you have to align yourself with somebody and they aren't comfortable with that either (although their prior wild-ass-guess alignment with msft worked out pretty well)
