If you can find examples of where I've canonized Bush, feel free to provide them. I wasn't saying that you hadn't disagreed with Bush. I was pointing out that your post revealed a certain blurring of the distinction between agreement on political issues and respect for character. You wrote: I never made Bush out to be a saint. I disagree with his policy frequently. This does, you must admit, suggest rather strongly that agreement with policies is among your principal criteria for sainthood.
