It's all noise until/unless it climbs back over the lower line of the huge coil. I've posted you this one a few times in the last year:

60-70 % of Cisco's revenues comes from enterprise Networking, which is somewhat a healthy market even this year. If you look at EXTR and FDRY (bulk of their revenues also come from enterprise networking), these companies are also doing okay as opposed to JNPR which strictly plays in the data telecom sector. It's is the entire telecom sector, both voice and data, that sucks. But in my opinion, this sector should start to heal beginning mid 2003.

I read a detailed report from UBS regarding a potential 4+ Billion dollars core router market, part of it based on replacement theory, developing over a period of three years. Today 90 % of the data service providers worldwide use Cisco GSR 7500 routers in their networks which at some point they have to simply replace rather than upgrade.

A new ruling called Section 31 (I might not remember the exact name) will allow RBOCs to offer data service. This will allow RBOCs to build their own metropolitan data networks. Besides RBOCs faces some serious competition from cable operators rather than the dying and debt-ridden CLECs.

I hope you will posting on this thread when you take a long term position on SEBL.
