Do you have a reference to a post. I do not recall saying that recently, but if I did, I would like to see the context.

Still, no way I said S&P was going to 500 anytime soon. I said 800 would hold on the first test. I bought it and it did. Since that day I am flat non-tech and short software only on tech side.

Well, now that we have that straightened out... -g

I am more confident that the banks will see 550 in the near future than I am of the Dow making another low.

Frankly, all I can do is reiterate what I have been saying since the close of the big up day this week:

* For anyone other than "traders", this is no time
to be in the market, long or short.
* I am 65% confident that non-tech will make another
low in this run and am particularly bearish on banks.
If I were to short non-tech, it would only be on a good
rise in the banks.
* I am 80-90% confident that tech will make another low
in this run and am particularly bearish on software.
* If I really wanted to go long tech, and I do not,
it would have been biotech.
* I am flat non-tech and short software, but not in size
as this is no damn time to be betting short aggressively.
This is the way it looks to the Voodoo Box as of a couple of days ago. If price does something surprising, then it'll change its tune. There is no way I would be stubborn about these calls.

Cheers
