Don't forget Begin and Shamir who led the massacre at Deir Yassim later to become Prime Ministers. Begin even won a Nobel Prize. Not bad for a man who blew up the King David Hotel and wiped out a village of unarmed people.

OTOTOTO I was talking to one of my close Jewish friends who has family members who witnessed the Holocaust. I asked him seriously whether he thought Arafat was a partner for peace. He said, "Sure he is! He's a partner for pieces of Israelis all over the street." At the time, neither of us were in a joking mood, because the topic was serious. So by the same token, I'm not posting his joke here in a facetious manner. Instead, I want to point out that Sharon may be bloody, but he is nothing compared to the Palestininians and their brethren in Hamas, Force 17, Hezbollah, Al Aqsa, and all the other murder cabals. Sharon may be bloody but he understands one thing better than you do sitting in your nice home, trading stocks, and sipping martinies. He understands that you don't treat terrorists as human. You wipe them out. Because terrorists don't have an agenda other than your own and your country's extinction. How can you negotiate or partner with someone who's stated goal is to "push Israel into the sea"? The answer is that you don't. You kill them before they can kill you. Sharon understands this. So go one dreaming of a utopian society, where everyone dances in the streets and passes out candy while reading poetry to one another. In the mean time, the people who are dealing with real life will take care of business, so that the fop generations ahead can have peace without terrorists.
