We believe this decision is in the best interest of the Company and its shareholders," said Ed Belsheim, president and chief operating officer of InfoSpace. "This program is designed to raise the trading levels of InfoSpace stock while preserving cash for acquisitions, the development of new technologies and continued investment in our employees. Our intent is to achieve stock trading levels that meet the criteria of more long-term institutional holders, allowing us to more effectively communicate our unique value proposition to this audience. InfoSpace's strong balance sheet, innovative products and services, and long list of blue chip customers position us well to deliver long term shareholder value."

INSP decided it is the right time to get back on the radar screens of the institutional investors. No questions at the CC and no questions at the Investors Day signaled that INSP is not being watched...read the statement above again..."Our intent is to achieve stock trading levels that meet the criteria of more long-term institutional holders, allowing us to more effectively communicate our unique value proposition to this audience."

They held an Investors Day conference and nobody came. If you are interested in buying a company at the bottom, this is your opportunity. Provided of course, you have any belief that this company is a company, I do.

I'm glad you disagree with me, and in terms of this:

>>>Ignore statistics on what other companies have done after their stock splits...past performances are no indication of future results...not only that but you cannot compare INSP with any other company.<<<

this is what I am doing. KANA did a reverse split and managed to go from over 20 back down below a dollar. My concern is that it seems a lot easier to go from .60 to say 2.00 a share than from 6 to 18.

But as I say, I am glad you disagree with me because it makes me feel better, I don't know that much about these things and if it does overal improve their position I will take it. I can easily hold this stock for another five years or longer if necessary so...whatever works.

Thanks again for all the helpful information.

Michael
