teevee turns goldbugger only when he anticipates for the species a buck in its immediate future, quite a philistine attitude there <sniff> .... today i bought ngt .32 and better, xcl .35!, yesterday dy.to a hair more dear than i could have today, such is life, off to town now, She Who Piles tells of music and dancing

EC, let us set about financing Wildcat right here .... first, you have to realise that you're going about it all wrong - you must quit the mining business, renounce it forever citing a litany of new age reasons, get born again ['i was in a bind, in a bind, but now i can pee!', just make up stuff, it doesn't have to rhyme] in the crud of Greenspan, then pick up this book called Tom Sawyer, read three times, absorb thoroughly, and set up a dude ranch for vegan retro wannabe pretend-miners with credit card limits over one gazillion, make them bring their own underground tools and sledgehammers/anvils for milling, be sure to award liberal air miles on account settlements over fifty k US, this is important, also lots of arugula in the salad, they love that shit and you can grow it out back real fast

Worked in the depression, and it has worked for 4000 years.

I had a college geology professor who spent the Depression as an itinerant gold miner. Spent some time around Quesnel BC, if I recall. And rode a banana boat to Central America with a bunch of guys, and then followed a river thru the jungle way up into the mountains. Started finding gold, but then they got very sick and barely made it out alive.

Many years later I went on a geology field trip with him to BC and YT, my first trip to the far north.
