MH - In case you don't know, that piece was written quite a while ago, maybe even a few months, so it doesn't really have any application in the immediate context. FWIW the last story I read about POG selling off this week was that the Germans had to cough some up to cover their market losses. Traders that knew the sale was coming ran ahead of it earlier in the week, and then the big order hit the market, with the whole process tripping stops at every point all along the way. If you have any pull with the German CBs maybe you can confirm all this, they haven't returned any of my calls
