NEM not far from a 52 week low. Gotta love it. Qcom has huge e, raises estimates, and ends barely up, while vrts spikes after hours on an announcement that they will make an annoucement Monday. As long as this crap stops before the economy gets destroyed it's all fine.

There is so much doom and gloom at work that I feel in my gut that we must be close to a bottom. just the other day
they had Robert Prechter Jr the elliot wave guy (who is calling for Dow 1000) on the radio. His book "surviving the
crash" is on the Amazon bestseller list. (In fact I bought
a copy myself). We have the strongest equity fund outflows
in years. The S&P 500 is way more oversold than it was on
september 2001. Only thing missing that I felt on Oct 1998
and on September 2001 is a sense of dread that things were
collapsing. I haven't felt that sense of unease this time.
So sentiment wise we are at levels associated with bottoms.
We need some catalyst to spark a rally maybe a surprise rate
cut.
