HJ honey, heres some white collar crime for you....

From the Vancouver Sun.............

A bitter six-year battle over the sale of two Greater Vancouver Catholic schools to pay sexual abuse victims at Newfoundland's Mount Cashel orphanage finally ended Thursday with a compromise. Vancouver's Catholic community offered the victims $19 million in an out-of-court settlement that will enable them to maintain control over the schools, Vancouver College and St. Thomas More Collegiate. Fund-raising efforts in the Catholic community will help pay off a loan already secured to settle the victims' claims.

Hah. Imagine a bake sale to bail out the kiddie diddlers!
