Ish, Well, even though you live in a place like a country gentleman, you are pretty close to town, unless you are at the farm.

Actually, I now get, what they call, check imaging, which is a photocopy of all cancelled checks in reduced size. They are accepted as proof by the IRS, and just about anyone else as I understand it. It helps if you need an actual, full size, copy of both sides of the check because the bank can find it easier. A copy like that costs $4 which I think is ridiculous. Banks no longer serve their checking, or savings, account customers. All they are interested in is making loans at high rates of interest.
Everyone else can take a hike for all they care. It's kinda like insurance companies. They no longer take any risks at all.
