I read CNBC was giving "shorting 101" lessons earlier in the week. Talk about late to the party. It looks like the markets could bounce into the August 14th deadline for CEOs signing off on their financials. I bet we peak around then and selloff into the fall from there.

James L. Fleckenstein

Gee, it was exciting to see one of my heros
(your brother Bill) post here.
I'm sorry I missed him.

"I spoke to him and apparently there is a good
article coming out in the Monday NY Times
lampooning CNBC. Might be worth keeping an eye out for..."

Thanks.
Did he write the article?
I'll have to remember to stop by the news stand
and get a copy.

How's the Wonging going?
My plate is pretty full so I don't have the time
to check the foreign markets... but I sure like the
sound of your strategy.

James, tell us the "real score"

Bill said that the rally had nothing to do with the Rigas arrest, (I agree) but if you called him he'd tell you the "real score."

What did he tell you? I'm sure it's something more than a mundane story about the PPT acting Wednesday morning. I bet it had something to do with all the banking and gold rumors from Monday & Tuesday . . . .
