Meanwhile, back in Libya, I guess the Salafis are giving Gadhafi a tough time about his "Bimbo" Guards. From "UPI hears"

>>>>There are signs that militant Islamists are moving in on Libya. Because Moammar Gadhafi, who recruits bimbos for his bodyguard, is strongly opposed to what he calls "political Islam" the Jamahariya has been practically the sole Arab nation without Islamic militant activity. But clashes were reported recently between Sufi Muslims and militant Salafis in Zawija, a town near Tripoli, with each group trying to impose its way of conducting prayers. The Salafis have fundamentalist views similar to those of the Taliban or the Saudi Arabian Wahabi movement. News of the clashes was first revealed Thursday in Tripoli in a statement denouncing Islamic extremism by -- of all people -- Gadhafi's son Seif al-Islam. In this first ever incidence of Islamist aggressiveness reported in Libya police broke up the clashes then forced demonstrators who had beards to shave them off. Libyan Justice Minister Muhammad al-Masrati told UPI Thursday, "Libyans like their mosques free from Muslim extremism. They practice true, tolerant Islamism."

Saw Ritter on Donahue or Matthews last week.

His "about face" is highly questionable.

He says he is a consultant now. I wonder who he consults for??

Perhaps the same clients supporting R. Clark and that former US ambassador (cant recall his name) who is always talking up the mass murder of Iraqi children from sanctions.
