I'd love to find an honest breakdown of medical costs in this country.

Things like this
businessweek.com

state that $400 BILLION in fed & state expenditures on medical care, 13.4% of GDP total or $1.3 TRILLION total.

So, with 6 million healthcare workers, that's an AVERAGE of $216,000 PER PERSON annually.

And that includes nurses, clerks, janitors along with specialist surgeons etc.

In a quick search I still haven't found a simple breakdown showing:

1) PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANY COSTS

2) CAREGIVER COSTS (DOCS, NURSES)

3) INSURANCE COSTS

4) LEGAL COSTS

I suspect no lobbyist wants these numbers clearly stated.

Because - there is NO LOBBYIST FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE that are being screwed.
