Re: we could get the move in a very fast way.

I really don't know how this is going too play out. I was in and out of the house Fri. and I wasn't paying that close of attention to the trading as I was assuming everything was fine. I did watch the last 50 min and things don't seem right. Did you notice how the high- beta stocks traded? Most of Zevs' traders I think closed down. There was not even any short covering in the last 15 min which should have happened. I put up some figures, there should be a lot more up than down way more than these figures.
I will be watching the vol. carefully and might sell some traders on the morning pop if the futures are up big.
I would like the market just to put in a nice stealth rally just slowly creep up without anyone knowing. But that is going to be impossible. All the noise this weekend from the TV was, this is the time to buy? The Market has been front page news so any movement is going to be headlines. So maybe we are in for some violent ups and downs.
I thought everything was looking better with the chips with forward guidance inventories etc. Then Tiawan semi came out and warned so I have really no clue.
It has been awhile since the last upgrade cycle. It must be close to 2-3 years and every computer and monitor must be patched up and ready for replacement soon.
Be careful
That said it feels good letting the stocks come down to our price instead of chasing.
We did quite well on most of the buying except for IRF we got to anxious on that one. And WMT which blew through what we believed was pretty strong support. Our local Wal-Mart are so busy that people are parked on the frontage road.
I drive around and the roads are packed with cars and trucks, something must be working in this economy. Some of the Blue Chips have been creamed so we started buying as we approached the trend line. If this doesn't hold NAZ 800 and industrials 5500. I really don't think so.
I hope this makes sense as I just read it and I don't understand it. vbg
But I'm tired and going to bed.
Good night
