Oh Dan, I'm afraid that AMD's ASPs may be dropping even further from the $63 mark from last quarter.
Aren't you afraid too, Dan3?

AMD is dropping prices - with no new processors at the high end to take up the slack.
Please put a good spin on this and convince me that this will be good for AMD, OK Dan3?

The question is how is this good for INTC?

By now, you must know that high end processors are not the ones selling.....that the sweet spot is in the low end. And if you read the article carefully right to its end, you may note that it says "Intel, AMD's competitor, is not expected to cut prices for a few more weeks, when its expected to introduce a new 2.8 G P4 bla bla bla" which we all know is not expected to sell very well.

So it seems you are gloating because Intel gets a few weeks longer than AMD before it too has to cut its prices from which action it too will realize lowered ASPs . All of this not-so-good news seems to be reflected in both stocks which have managed to go nowhere the past few days.

So my question to you is.....aren't you afraid, Monica? And please, put a good spin on how this is incredible news for INTC? Inquiring minds want to know!
