Hey Base Commander Ripper, I still can't find that clause in the Constitution that says the federal government can build dams, construct an interstate highway system or fly a man to the moon. Can you identify it for me?

CYBERKEN, People like Teddy, Daschle, and Gephardt, are the ones responsible for the debacle in the first place. Social Security, and the later added Medicare, were government boon doggles from the git go. We can blame Eleanor Roosevelt for that. The Dems of the era were rubbing their greedy little hands together at the prospect of more government pork that they could play with.
