I was surprised he wasn't honest with Christina either. I mean, he's obviously got no problem telling people they're no good. Yes, the structure of the show is incredibly cruel. What blows my mind is that there are SO many people who volunteer to face humiliation on television. And I haven't heard about a second season, though I'd be shocked if there weren't one. It's this year's "Fear Factor".

Now Laz knows what I do for fun. Laz considers that Newton Minow hit the nail dead center on the head when he called broadcast TV a "vast wasteland". I have NO IDEA what you are talking about. I have never seen it. I had no idea there was such a show until Poet mentioned it. What is it about? Sounds sort of like "Jeopardy" for bimbos. (That gives you some idea of what I will watch on occasion.) If it were legal, the networks would gladky bring back gladiatorial combat if it would improve ratings.
