It's basically a TV with a large hard drive built in like a computer. here it is: tivo.com

Yeah, something like that.....but you don't have tapes to fool with, just pick a show you want to record and it does it. It can store so many hours of shows for ever. If you want, you can also have it hooked up to a VCR and have it record anything in it's memory onto a tape. It's really a neat thing.
