The problem I have with foreigners taking their money out of the U.S. stock market is:
1. The US stock market continues to perform better than Europe
2. The US economy continues to be the best performing of the large economies
3. The US consumer is the only show in town. The whole world needs the continued consumption of J6P to keep the world economy afloat.

This all limits the amount of money withdrawn from the US, and limits the downside of the dollar. I would very much like to buy the assumption that the dollar is going to collapse and that gold will take off but there has to be some fundamental changes in the world outlook. Europeans and Asians have to support their own domestic consumption and not rely on the US consumer to keep them employed.
