<You just forgot the cost of serving the debt taken on - J6P is driving into a concrete - no, make it granite - wall with his/her SUV. And uncle AG - I hope he's got his belt fastened.>

No DJ, I didn't forget. That keeps them working. They will zoom off down the freeway singing "I owe, I owe, it's off to work I go" [to the tune of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves singing "Hi Ho, Hi Ho, it's off to work we go" as they marched off to the mine].

Uncle Al will raise rates enough to keep them singing. Too late they'll realize that their enthusiastic borrow-and-spend of 2001 and 2002 by borrowing against their house was NOT the road to a life of leisure. Uncle Al will have them in his clutches and they'll work work work until they drop, aged 85. Come to think of it, I don't want them resting on the oars either. I need them to supply me all the stuff I like to have.

Hooray for Uncle Al. Hooray for Dr J. [Dr Jacobs of QUALCOMM].
