SR, The press release clearly states: "The officers are required to file their written statements with the Commission no later than the close of business on the first date that their company is required to file a Form 10-K or Form 10-Q with the Commission on or after Aug. 14, 2002."

My initial reaction was that the resulting deadline for most of these big boyz would be mid November - the deadline for filing their next (Sept) 10-Qs.

I'm now questioning my thinking however: While most every company will have already filed their June quarter 10-Qs by August 14, does the fact that the actual "requirement" for filing June quarter 10-Qs is August 14th mean that they still have to sign off by August 14th? (since this is "the first date that their company is required to file a Form 10-K or Form 10-Q with the Commission on or after Aug. 14, 2002").

Am I makin' any sense here?
