There is an obvious way to compare power consumption of
the two processors. Intel supplies their boxed Pentium-4
processors with a monstrous heat sink, about twice as big
as the heat sink for AMD boxed processors.
This is in striking contrast to what they say in their
termal and DC specifications. End of proof.
