The North Umpqua is very nice. Lots of deer. The housing market in Roseburg should be reasonable (just guessing) because of the economy.

Our house is still for sale. Very frustrating. Glad you had a nice trip.

PS: As I type, they are pulling the first two or three miners out of the mine in Pennsyvania. Jeraldo said this might be a turning point--a turn in the trend of continuous bad news since 9/11.

I remember it was about 1974 or so when the miners were trapped in the mine at Kellogg. I was in Couer d'Alene at a JayCee convention. One of the most prominent Jaycees in Idaho was in that mine. He did not survive. It was a real downer on the convention. So by God I am glad for the good news this time.
