If he doesn't have them why don't we push for inspections?


We have been pushing for inspections for ten years with no results. We cannot be sure if Saddam has WMD now or not. Our best estimate is that he does not have Atom Bombs yet. We do know that the longer we wait, the more likely he is to have them. So, since we are going to have to take him out eventually, do it now when the risk is less.
