Well... your unemployment is higher than ours and your housing is falling probably due to supply outstripping demand. Until your area starts to add jobs, I would expect the divergence between the two regions. Plus.... I hear those who are finding jobs are being offered lower salaries which of course means they look for lower housing costs.

My sweetie's company has been hiring full time benefitted workers (first time since they began laying off. They were hiring a few contractors a month or two ago). But.... they're a small company highly dependent on one customer, but I still think it's a good sign that a start up that never got IPO funds is able to make it and even hire.

I am getting fed up with this!

Qwest Says Used Improper Accounting

The Denver-based company, which also faces a criminal probe by the U.S. Justice Department, said it improperly accounted for about $1.16 billion in sales of optical capacity on its network, as well as sales of communications equipment. The company said it is reviewing the accounting practices and may be required to restate all optical capacity sales.
