To be honest, I dislike all of them! But, for my sins, I own shares in AU, GFI and HGMCY. Although, being South African, I can only buy shares in SA companies, I don't see that any of the others are any better.

I suppose it was on the cards when these guys took over the country and we'll just have to see how it pans out. One thing I know is that their bark is worse than their bite. They threatened the Bafokeng tribe that they were going to take their platinum concessions but eventually capitulated.

Anyway, AngloAmerican is a past master at dealing with this government. In fact, there was a time when I considered that ANC stood for Anglo's Native Contingent.
