Socialism isn't a form of government. Oblomov, agreed. I was playing (fast and loose) with words, and with the fact that many of your fellow citizens seem to equate socialism with totalitarianism. It is an economic system imposed by government. Disagree here. In social democracies, at least, it's implemented by governments freely elected ... The quote, by the way, was Winston Churchill's Oops, I see I misplaced the grin in that sentence -- it should have gone after "somebody or other". <g>
