The timing of you post is uncanny. I am preparing something to show folks what the alternatives are here. You know, a really big overview yearly thing that shows wave counts from 1870.

Of the alternatives, the two most likely, in no order of preference, are:

* We are in a wave 4 only and the 2000 top was just the end of wave 3 out of the 1974 low (or appropriate low depending on where you think that bear ended). This is Onischka's choice from what I understand of your post.

* We are correcting going all the way back to 1932. In other words, everything from the 1932 low is a single complete wave and now we head to something in the area of Dow 1000-3000.

Hard to believe that was only a "3" top when you look at Steve Williams long term inflation-adjusted DOW.
