JDN >> No problem...and yea, we do share alot of the same thoughts.....I could have written the above.....I look at it like this....things look very ugly....right now....2 years ago things looked great....every time period, and things will look differently....things may look bleak now, but what if...just what if....this is a bottom....and the market see's new highs within 3 - 10 years....I'll bet those that bought now, when things look the ugliest, will be happy campers...while those that held all the way down just to sell most of their stocks near the bottom, will not be the happiest.....I am 38...I hope in the next 20 or so years, we see new highs....with this in mind, I am not trying to guess bottoms...just trying to find, and buy quality, while it's cheap and nobody wants it....not messing with margin, but staying fully vested with dry powder on the ready for buying opp's.....so, I think things look like $hit right now, and really have no idea if a recovery will indeed happen or not.....but, with time on my side, where else am I going to put my money.....I'll gamble that in 20 years the markets have recovered..if not, I think we are all in deep $hit regardless....so, stay off margin....buy quality while it's cheap...and the ocassional lottery ticket stock as well.....one....a little known micro cap....HQNT...has awesome potential...no guarantees but awesome potential....they have a very small float, very low valuation, are PROFITABLE!!!, and they are projecting huge growth with a couple of new products hitting the line soon....I bought at .57 and again at .30 now at .60 or thereabouts, and like I said, they just announced they expect to close 2002 on a very strong note and expect 2003 to be gangbusters.....how many low valued, profitable companies are saying " we expect to kick but the rest of 2002 and really kick but bigtime in 2003"? Not many in todays market......anyway, not touting it....it is of course speculative as is any microcap.....but they have an awesome product that is garnishing ALOT of attention withing their field......anyway......Like you, I am just buying the dips, and bidding my time, hoping america wins in the long run.....best of luck to you and all longs....
