Puleeze, I know you don't really believe that Charles. A President is very powerful, but he can't change the course of a 10 trillion dollar economy in a little over 6 months based on that.

The reality is the economy was adjusting to a slowdown when he took office. It was especially prevalent in the information sector. And although we've had great growth numbers lately, I believe we still haven't seen the bottom in the information world.

On a side note; San Francisco housing prices are spiraling downward (from there obscene heights), as workers look for better horizons. The tech savvy ones will eventually find work with good salaries. But the phone reps and other service oriented people (some of whom were making 80K a year) are going to have a tough time finding comparable salaries.

This is all part of the natural cycle of business success and failure. The American economy is unique in the way it rapidly adjusts to changes like this. American entrepreneurs are adaptive and creative. They will find a way to succeed.

Very little of it depends on what happens daily in Washington D.C.
