Anyone still remember the name Atiq Raza?? I do. I never actually met the man, but I once sat in on one of his presentations. It's kind of hard to explain, call it charisma, drive, determination, whatever. But whatever "it" is, he had it. I was really..... really worried when he joined AMD. I remember thinking, "Great, another "Dirk M." type person, to screw intel over". Whew! Thank GOD (for intel) he didn't stay at AMD. He would have made things really tough for intel, unlike "puppetman" you-kow-who. AMD and Jerry got what they asked for. I said at the time, that losing Atiq was Bad for AMD, and I recall that I was ridiculed on that other thread..... quite a bit. Possibly Atiq may have seen through Jerry's scapegoat plan to drag him down, and knew when to get out. Perhaps Atiq was alot smarter than I thought. Semi
