I agree with your earlier post that THEY will try to and may succeed in saving <<JPM and Citigroup>>, just as Japan must try to save the Japanese banking system by propping the construct up, however ill. But, if THEY do try, I have no reason to believe that the outcome in the US will be any different than in Japan, or Thailand or Argentina, namely a very long recovery period.

I observe that a long recovery period is preferable to sudden death.
