That is more than interesting. It is alarming.. We talked about this at home. I wonder if the Special Ops attracts a certain type and their training and experiences brings out the rest.. Where any dispute is to be settled by violence..

I wonder if it is a "Monsters Ball" environment that breeds this behavior...

I don't know, but I bet that there are more than a few spouses over there living in fear with black eyes..

Life on earth is stressful as it is. Add to that marriage, kids, lengthy separation from loved ones, being placed in harms way, SpecOps being a particularly dangerous assignment in the military to begin with and its not a complete surprise....These guys are taught to be lethal without really thinking about it. On the whole, I've found the guys I have known in SpecOps to be a different breed but usually more strongly committed to their wives and families than is customary in the military community. I suspect there is a lot more to the story here than we know about at this time.....
