Hi X, That is more than interesting. It is alarming.. We talked about this at home. I wonder if the Special Ops attracts a certain type and their training and experiences brings out the rest.. Where any dispute is to be settled by violence.. I wonder if it is a "Monsters Ball" environment that breeds this behavior... I don't know, but I bet that there are more than a few spouses over there living in fear with black eyes.. m

Life on earth is stressful as it is. Add to that marriage, kids, lengthy separation from loved ones, being placed in harms way, SpecOps being a particularly dangerous assignment in the military to begin with and its not a complete surprise....These guys are taught to be lethal without really thinking about it. On the whole, I've found the guys I have known in SpecOps to be a different breed but usually more strongly committed to their wives and families than is customary in the military community. I suspect there is a lot more to the story here than we know about at this time.....
