No one in the pro-invasion camp against Iraq has been able to address this point effectively.

During the Cold War, MAD served as the cornerstone for a policy of deterrence. The Israelis have the Samson option. Saddam can always threaten to use his biologic or chemical cache of weapons against an invading force or opt to release his WMDs to Islamic terrorist groups, as a mean of deterrence, if his existence is in peril. Let's just call it the Baghdad option. <vbg>
