Eric,

Regarding BREW: Make that 9 months - not two years.

I think we should use the date that BREW became available, not the date it was first launched by a carrier. I don't remember the exact date and it may be more accurate to say 1 1/2 years. Regardless, I'm still amazed at the quick adoption rate so far.

As an operating system, it is not an operating system

I realize that technically it's not. What would be the best description that is more specific than calling it enabling software?

That is indeed the way BREW is being touted, but it is a bit misleading.

Wow! It's more than a bit misleading. Thanks for pointing that out.

I would not necessarily expect it to become a de facto standard, however, beyond, and even in the cdma community.

I wouldn't either. The nice thing about Gorilla Gaming is that we don't have to expect anything. Instead, we monitor product adoption and invest accordingly. On the other hand, I won't be surprised if it becomes the standard in the CDMA community. I'll be shocked if it becomes so beyond that community.
