George, that I agree with! I didn't want people to think you where telling them to sell their homes and invest the money in stocks.

selling real estate held for INVESTMENT purposes at a nice profit

The window for selling is still open but soon banks ae going to be wary of loans out more then the appraised value. Some sellers think that the sky is the limit.

Let me get this clear. You would be crazy to sell your PRIMARY residence as an investment, bubble or no bubble, unless you are only planning to live in it for less than 1-2 years. I think most people do not fit that profile.

Investment properties is a whole different ball game. I hope you don't consider your PRIMARY residence as such. JMHO.
