True, money at work is getting smaller. But that is evident as the wealth affect works in reverse now and equity in the markets is reduced. If the capital base was the same, we should be seeing even higher volume as more shares can be bought for the same dollar at the lower prices. We don't see it.

I have seen volume studies suggest the same in the bigger picture.
