Not saying the bear market is over but we did seem to have some capitulation in the past couple of weeks. I wasn't keeping track but I think we had 4 ticks over -1000 on the NYSE (could have had 5 and the reading was the highest in this bear) in 7 days and 2 for the naz (might have been 3).

From a cross sample of those I deal with about 50% capitulated and the remainder are riding it out. The reminder still argue on the buy and hold for the long term.

I just think (not hope) we may have set an intermediate term bottom. The market might have been signaling the 3.6% June drop.

Time will tell. Of course the alternative is we head to new lows on the naz (doable), don's negative monthly signal.
