I agree with your assessment Sam. I spent some time looking through Checkfree's new site today and have decided to consolidate at this site.

For me it was becoming very confusing to keep track of where and when all of my e-bills were to arrive. I always had in the back of my mind that I had missed one. I have about 14 bills that I now get e-statements for. Some were at Quicken.com (Quicken decided to charge for the convenience)and for some I received a seperate e-mail from the biller. With the Checkfree site it looks like I can get bills for all of my 14 billers with the exception of AT&T Cable and Broadband. If Checkfree doesn't present the bill themselves they are at least link to the billers site for viewing.

I think this will provide more peace of mind for me as there is one place I can go (with the exception of ATT) to check e-bill status. I'll be interested to hear what the adoption rate is at this site as I think the confusion I have experienced in the marketplace has slowed adoption to this point. Does anybody know if Checkfree has plans to promote the site or co-brand it?

I am still in full agreement with Tom that they really need to provide a centralized statement storage feature (perhaps on your own hard drive) for permanent record keeping. It unnerves me a bit that I will not be able to get at a statement history going back any real length of time should I need it.
